Amazing food! Love the gyro and the rice pudding with cinnamon. Really pleased with the wonderful safety precautions being taken right now to protect everyone’s health. Family owned and great service, too! Will be coming again!

Can there be a better establishment of good food and customer service? We love this place. Great for weekend brunch too. Bawer is a wonderful owner, family man, friend. Please stop by his establishment and taste for yourself.

Renewing this review since the Chase Center opened tonight and I visited again. SF Kebab is now my go-to place for food, wine, and beers before an event across the street at the new arena. Great gyro wraps and local beer taps, also an intriguing wine selection!Original:Wow delicious Mediterranean food right at 16th and 3rd in Mission Bay at the edge of the UCSF-MC campus. We went nuts and got an appetizer platter and a Combo Platter with all sorts of fantastic meats (chicken and lamb gyros, beef kofta, chicken and beef kebabs) and of course salad, rice, and bulgur. Wife had a gyro wrap which she loved. It was delicious and they have some really good beers and wines available - I had a Black IPA from a local brewery and there were five other solid tap choices. The dining room is really pretty too. I had great service on a Sunday afternoon and the owner himself was there, and was very friendly. I will totally be back.

Phenomenally friendly staff and owner, running a well thought out business focused on value and quality. Excellent for lunch as well as a quiet dinner with a friend or a group. Good for families and kids

A decent Mediterranean restaurant near Chase Center, Mission Bay, SF. Strongly recommend their Kanafe.

We bought the sampler platter for 4. Amazing! So much meat. So delicious! There was was way more than enough food for 4 very hungry people. We had lots of leftovers.

Tried the lamb wrap. The lamb was nicely spiced. The pita was soft and warm 😊. Was very tasty and would come back again.

Friendly and very delicious. If you order takeout be sure to ask for Pita bread. The balaclava is super good as well.

The place itself is brand new and has a great atmosphere. There's also plenty of street parking along 4th.

One of my top places for delicious Mediterranean food. Prices are reasonable I would say. This place has many good reviews for a reason.

Food was good. Ordered the plated chicken gyro, fries and a beer. The location is great to start the night before an event at the new Chase arena. It's literally right across the street. If your here visiting family at UCSF which it shares doors with or going to a warriors game. Definitely stop by and grab something to eat before you pay a lot more money at the Chase arena.

Delicious food, especially the lamb and beef gyro platters. Would also recommend the rice pudding. The restaurant takes customer health safety and cleanliness very seriously.

Great food and super friendly staff. Unlike other restaurants in SF, this one is large in size.

They were amazing! So if a side of ONIONS were amazing, then you have to know everything else was as well! Can't want to go back again. Rice smelled great! I love it!

Left Giants vs Twins game a little earlier and noticed SF Kebab is open. This area is dead on weekends only locals and fans (game day). There's no parking in front as you'll need to park at UCSF Medical garage. Recently opened a few weeks ago, this place is huge by restaurant standard. Patio seating is a blessing with warmer weather and interior is spacious as well. Service is quick with no hiccups and order came less than five minutes after being seated. Lamb and beef gyro plate USD 12.95 came with rice, salad, and bread. Thinly sliced beef and lamb was delicious cook perfectly. Some how I managed to sliced bread in half and filled it up to suit my cravings. It was like eating a lamb and beef burger. Rice pudding was average tasting to my liking, but edible with dash of cinnamon.

Great lunchtime vibe. Bright, lively, quick, friendly service. And the food... Bright, lively, satisfying. Deep flavors. Colorful. Yum. Bring a friend.

We were so excited to go to SF Kebab, and all our expectations were exceeded. We loved the former restaurant known as Hayes & Kebab. There were remnants of Hayes and Kebab which was nice and sentimental (e.g. the light fixtures and the pillows). Hospitality is A+, food is A+, ambience is perfect for a nice, relaxing evening.

I love this place! Servings are huge... enough for lunch and dinner. Also, I phone ordered and they messed up my order but redeem themselves by giving me a discount and extra food. Must've been my lucky day.

Not good. The salmon was tasteless, the wrap was stale, tomatoes not ripe.
Youjin Lee
Love their kale and couscous salad with chicken kebab.

Their Kebab's plates are good. It is a little bit expensive considering the quality of the food, but it is the best restaurant in UCSF mission bay neighborhood for now. Service is pretty fast and you will get your food in 10 minutes after you order. Good restaurant to go with co-workers and have a chat.

I really like SF Kabab. Good food, decent value, and great vibes without being crowded. You can get beer and wine here too! Seating indoors and outdoors, and the people/service are nice. For food options, you can get a plate, salad, or wrap.

One of my favorite places for mediterranean food. Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. Prices are fair I would say. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Amazing food! Best baba ganoush in the city!

Quick tasty lunch. For take out orders, they might take a little longer if they are busy. I recommend their chicken wrap and gyro plates.

Great food , great prices, I will go back again and again and again and again thanks for that...

Great place to grab a quick lunch.

Good hummus (forgot to take a photo) w warm pita bread. Gyro plate was pretty good! Friendly service. Came at night on weekend when it was pretty quiet so experience may vary

This place is awesome. Great food, we showed up with a huge party and they somehow managed to get a huge amount of food out to us quickly. And it was delicious.

This place is some of the best fast casual middle eastern food I have had. The lamb/beef shwarma is amazing, even better when you go at a slower time so you get more of the crunchy bits. Recommend getting the combo plate and the falafel to get a chance to try everything. More than enough food for 2 people! The owner is also awesome. He saw I was coming from the hospital next door (children's hospital) and congratulated me on the birth of my child with a champagne flute of beer. Was really appreciated.

Yummy salad and kebabs! Really good finding

Really great food and service, but pretty pricey for the amount that you get. The falafel is crisp and delicious, and the most cost-friendly meal on the menu at about $9. I'd say it's the best lunch option near the hospital if you don't have time for a walk. The decor is also really nice and chic, and the outdoor seating is great on sunny days.
Denis Dimov
Really love this place for delicious food! But when the staff starts shaking the carpets next to your food, to save 5 minutes after closing, you don’t want to come back anymore!
Melis Kavlicoglu
The service was great! Food came quickly and tasted amazing, just like real Turkish food. Their baklava was great, possibly the best I've ever had. Everyone there was so nice. As someone who is Turkish, I would definitely recommend. It's great before going to a Golden State Warriors game or if you're just around. 😀
Camie Hackson
Salmon kebob plate was great! Enjoyed the outdoor patio.

Great food and service. Great ambience. Chill spot to spend time and enjoy food. Been here on a Friday and a Saturday for super relaxing dinners. A good selection of coffee drinks also.

The chicken kebab is one of the best I have ever had. Lovely flavors and moist. Also the lentil soup is different different and very tasty. The only thing I did not like is their roll. The owner or manager and staff provide wonderful service. They also serve coffee and some alcohol. Please go you will like it.

Coming here was my first experience with Mediterranean food, and it was super amazing! The staff was friendly, the service was fast, eating area was clean, and best of all the food was excellent! Bonus it's close to my job, so I go there for a quick bite to eat!
Lupu Felicia
The place looks very nice, very hipsterish and the staff is very nice but the food is plain tasteless. So if you are looking for a tasty meal this is not the place.
Elena Calvillo
Good customer service! It was a rainy day and went to order me a Salmon Wrap and dessert. The salmon wrap was good although it was a little spicy for me . It's really nice and comfortable inside.

SF Kebab is a hidden gem at Mission Bay. They're the same people who used to own Hayes and Kebab which was one of my favorite places in San Francisco. Their food is high quality, delicious, and reasonably priced and this review is long overdue. Their chicken kebab platter is my favorite - healthy yet savory. Tender, well-cooked chicken; soft, warm, pita bread; and flavorful hummus and vegetables. Not to mention that they also have excellent wine and beer options. To top it off, their staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people around. I always recommend this place to friends/coworkers/anyone!

I LOVE this place. Helpful, friendly staff who were very patient and helpful while we figured out what to order. The food was fantastic and the wine selection compliments the food choices well. Overall, a fantastic, affordable experience in SF that I would highly recommend to others.

Absolutely love this place! The hummus is amazing. Just had the lamb & beef gyro plate. The meat melted in my mouth, the salad was bright, refreshing, and perfectly dressed and the rice pilaf was spot on. The portions were plentiful. Excellent service work smiling staff and the owners are very gracious and present! Great location, great food!
